Oh my gosh, I get it pictures can feel awkward! Maybe you don’t love posing, your kids are full of energy, your husband hates the camera, or you’re just worried about how you’ll look.
Take a deep breath. You don’t need to know how to pose, and you don’t need to be perfect. Just show up as you are, bring your beautiful smile, and trust me to guide you every step of the way.
We’ll have fun, laugh a lot, and before you know it, you’ll be looking back at photos that feel natural, joyful, and so you even if you didn’t realize you were looking your best in the moment.
Can I bring a friend or extra guest to the photoshoot?
To keep our session smooth, relaxed, and focused on you, I kindly ask that only those included in the photoshoot come along. No extra guests, please! Don’t worry I’ll have all the help you need with posing, holding your things, and keeping your clothes perfect. This way, we keep the energy fun and stress-free, and make sure every moment is all about you.
WHERE TO GO FOR MY SESSION
The location really depends on the style and feeling you’re dreaming of and the season we’re in.
If you love golden light and open skies, the beach is perfect for a breathtaking golden hour session.
If you want fresh colors and nature’s beauty, a park when the flowers are in bloom can be absolutely magical.
For cozy, intimate moments especially with little ones or newborns your own home can be the most beautiful spot of all, filled with the warmth and comfort of your everyday life.
No matter where we go, I’ll help you choose a location that matches your vision and makes your photos feel like you.
WHAT I SHOULD WEAR FOR MY SESSION
When it comes to what to wear, I always suggest soft, pastel colors they help create that dreamy, timeless look we love. Avoid big logos or bold brands, so nothing distracts from you and your beautiful story.
For family sessions, it’s wonderful if everyone can coordinate colors not necessarily matching exactly, but sticking to a similar palette to keep the photos feeling cohesive and harmonious.
If you’re not a fan of light colors, no worries! Just try to keep your outfit clean and simple solid colors or subtle patterns work best. The goal is for you to be the focus, so the clothes support your natural beauty without stealing the spotlight.
Should I bring anything?
Only if there’s something special you really want to include like ultrasound photos, meaningful keepsakes, or anything personal that tells your story. Otherwise, no need to stress about bringing things!
